ABERDEEN, Wash. (AP) — Police have arrested a second suspect in an Aberdeen shooting that wounded two men.
The shooting took place Thursday night in an alley behind a tavern.
KXRO and KANY report that one Vancouver man was transported to a Seattle hospital with serious wounds, and another suffered a non-life-threatening injury.
Investigators initially arrested a 30-year-old Aberdeen transient, and Ocean Shores police tracked down the second suspect, 39-year-old Michael A. Kerby, walking near a motel.
Officers believe the two shooting victims are contract workers who have been helping restart the Cosmo Specialty Fibers pulp mill at Cosmopolis.
