NEWARK, Del. (AP) — Chris Fouch scored 19 of his 23 points in the second half as Drexel came back to defeat Delaware 58-48 in a Colonial Athletic Association game on Saturday night.
Fouch scored 11 points during a 13-4 run that gave the Dragons (16-7, 8-5) a 42-40 lead after they had trailed 36-29.
The sophomore guard also hit a pair of baskets and four free throws in the final 4:50, when Drexel pulled away from a 42-42 tie.
Devon Saddler scored 20 points and was the only scorer in double figures for the Blue Hens (11-12, 6-7), who shot just 29.4 percent (15 of 51). Jawan Carter, who scored 24 points for Delaware when Drexel won the teams’ first meeting this season, was held to eight points this time and made just 1 of 10 shots.
Dartaye Ruffin had 14 points and eight rebounds for Drexel, and Samme Givens had eight points and eight rebounds.
