Jacksonville sweeps Lipscomb 78-68

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Ayron Hardy and Delwan Graham each scored 14 points and Jacksonville beat Lipscomb 78-68 on Saturday to sweep the season series.

Trailing by 17 points with 18 minutes to play, Lipscomb rallied with a 22-7 run to get to within 55-53 with 6:39 remaining. But Jacksonville scored the next six points and was never threatened the rest of the way as the lead was in double digits for the final 2 minutes.

The Dolphins (15-7, 9-4 Atlantic Sun Conference) were 26 of 30 from the free-throw line, including 20 of 23 in the second half, and outrebounded the Bisons 33-25.

Travis Cohn and Russell Powell each added 13 points, and Tevin Galvin had 10 for the Dolphins, who won for the fourth time in the past five games.

Josh Slater had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Bisons (14-10, 9-6), who have lost two straight. Adnan Hodzic added 19 points and Brandon Brown 10.
