PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) — A police official says militants have killed four men on suspicion of spying in northwest Pakistan.

Mohsin Shah says the bullet-riddled bodies were found Saturday in a village outside Karak district near the North Waziristan tribal region.

Shah says a note found near the bodies accused them of being Indian and Israeli agents.

Taliban militants often target people they accuse of gathering information to help identify targets for the campaign of American drone strikes in the region.
