WASHINGTON (AP) — Rubylee Wright scored 14 points to help No. 17 Georgetown pull away from Cincinnati 55-38 on Saturday.

Adria Crawford added eight of her 10 points in a crucial second-half stretch for the Hoyas (19-5, 7-3 Big East), who won their fifth straight. Tiffany Turner scored 12 points but couldn’t prevent the Bearcats (8-14, 1-9) from sinking to their eighth straight defeat.

Cincinnati committed 20 turnovers en route to being held under 40 points for just the second time this season, the first coming in a 63-44 loss at St. John’s on Jan. 18.

Wright finished with four 3-pointers, her last setting off a closing 17-3 run.

Shelly Bellman’s 3-pointer brought Cincinnati within two points shortly after halftime, but Georgetown responded with an 11-4 run that included six points from Andrea White.

The Bearcats answered with one last 7-0 spurt, but then Wright’s 3-pointer turned momentum for Georgetown for good.
