Murray out in Rotterdam first round

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) — Andy Murray has been upset by Marcos Baghdatis in the first round of the ABN-Amro tournament on Wednesday.

Baghdatis had nine aces to bounce Murray 6-4, 6-1. Murray was playing in his first match since losing the Australian Open final to Novak Djokovic.

Baghdatis fought back from 3-0 down and reeled off four games in a row from 4-2 to take the opening set. He’ll face Feliciano Lopez, who beat Florian Mayer 6-3, 6-4.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga rallied from a set down to beat Michael Llodra 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 to reach the quarterfinals. In the day’s other second-round match Marin Cilic upset fifth-seeded Jurgen Melzer 6-2, 6-4.
