INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Shelvin Mack scored a career-high 32 points and Butler used a late 21-4 run to rally past Detroit 66-51 Saturday night.

Shawn Vanzant added 12 points for the Bulldogs (18-9, 10-5 Horizon), and Matt Howard, who missed Thursday’s game after suffering a mild concussion Monday, had nine points and 12 rebounds in his return.

Ray McCallum and Nick Minnerath each scored 11 points to lead the Titans (14-14, 8-8), who have lost 10 straight to the Bulldogs.

Detroit took a 34-29 advantage into halftime and led 44-43 with 10:17 to play. A tip-in by Andrew Smith 69 seconds later gave Butler the lead for good, and the Bulldogs pushed their advantage to 64-48 with 1 minute remaining.

During the run, Mack scored 14 points, including two of his six 3-pointers, and Butler held Detroit without a field goal for 7:21.
