NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — All-Star forward Amare Stoudemire has a sprained right big toe and will miss the New York Knicks’ game at New Jersey.

A Knicks official said Stoudemire wasn’t sure when or how he was hurt. The team’s leading scorer played 32 minutes Friday night in a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, finishing with 24 points and 10 rebounds.

Wilson Chandler was in Saturday night’s starting lineup to replace Stoudemire, who leads the Knicks with 26.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. It’s the first game this season Stoudemire has missed.
