PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Notre Dame and Temple have agreed to a three-game football series starting in 2014.

The Owls will play host to the Fighting Irish on Oct. 11, 2014. Temple will play Sept. 26, 2015 in South Bend, Ind. The third game will be played at Notre Dame with a date that has yet to be determined.

The schools have never played each other.

Temple continues to bolster its non-conference schedule. The program announced last season a three-game series extension with Penn State through 2016, and a new four-game series with Rutgers through 2018.
