WHITE PASS, Wash. (AP) — The Yakima County Sheriff Office says two Seattle skiers built a fire to stay warm after becoming lost overnight from the White Pass Ski Area.
Sgt. George Town says the two men were found at 8 a.m. Sunday in good condition. They were reported missing Saturday evening.
Rescue crews searching throughout the night were able to spot the fire the skiers had built. The men also used a small key chain light to attract the attention of the rescue helicopter.
