SEATTLE (AP) — A woman whose pickup truck hit five pedestrians outside a Seattle nightclub has been sentenced to 29 months in prison.

The Seattle Times reports that 43-year-old Juanita Wright, of Seattle, pleaded guilty earlier this month to vehicular assault and reckless driving in the Oct. 28 crash that sent four people to the hospital. She was sentenced Friday by King County Superior Court Judge Bruce Heller.

Charging papers say the victims were crossing a street when they were struck. A 28-year-old woman suffered a brain injury that required doctors to remove a portion of her skull.

Court papers say empty and partially consumed beer cans were found in the truck. Police say Wright’s blood alcohol was measured at 0.29 percent, well above the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
