SEATTLE (AP) — The National Weather Service is forecasting three-to-six inches of snow Wednesday for Western Washington, including the Seattle area.
Forecasters say more snow is possible Thursday before things dry out Friday and Saturday.
Heavy snow already falling in the Cascades has closed Interstate 90 across Snoqualmie Pass Tuesday afternoon because of multiple collisions. The Weather Service expects up to two feet of new snow in the Cascades.
In Eastern Washington, forecasters expect snow showers the rest of the week with below-normal temperatures through the weekend.
