The Hockinson and Green Mountain school districts will offer free child development screenings next month.
The districts and Educational Service District 112 are sponsoring the screenings for children 3 to 5 years old who have not yet entered kindergarten.
The screening for children in the Green Mountain district will take place March 15. Children in the Hockinson district can be screened March 18. Appointments are required.
Children will be screened in speech and language, cognitive and motor development. Results are confidential and are discussed with parents following the screening.
