KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Keith Benson’s 18th double-double of the season led Summit League champion Oakland, Mich., to a 103-90 victory over UMKC on Thursday night.

Benson had 26 points and 14 rebounds for the Golden Grizzlies (21-9, 16-1), who are 14-1 in their last 15 games.

Reggie Hamilton scored a game-high 28 points for Oakland, which shot 60.7 percent (37 of 61). Will Hudson had an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double, Travis Bader scored 15 points — all on 3-pointers — and Larry Wright chipped in with 15.

All five starters hit double figures for the Kangaroos (16-12, 9-8), who were outrebounded 39-24 but forced 14 turnovers while committing only five. Bakari Lewis, Reggie Chamberlain and Max Rockmann scored 20 apiece, Dustin Dibble had 14 and Spencer Johnson added 12.

UMKC led 26-25 after Lewis’ jumper with 11:14 left in the first half. But Oakland ran off the next seven and never trailed again.
