SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Rashad Green converted two free throws with 1.2 seconds remaining in overtime to give San Francisco a 79-78 victory against Pepperdine on Thursday.

Perris Blackwell scored 13 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as the Dons (15-13, 9-4 West Coast Conference) recovered from a first half in which they shot 32.4 percent from the floor.

Angelo Caloiaro had 17 points to lead a balanced attack for USF, which had five scorers in double figures as it erased a nine-point halftime deficit. The Dons improved to 4-0 in overtime games this season.

Mychel Thompson, who finished with 31 points, flipped in an 8-foot leaner to give Pepperdine (11-19, 5-8) a 78-77 lead with 10.9 seconds remaining.

With time winding down, Green charged from the right corner and drew a foul on Gus Clardy. Green swished both foul shots to finish 10 for 11 from the line.
