JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) — Rashad Allison scored 16 points and Trey Finn added 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead Arkansas State to a 71-63 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock on Saturday.
The win clinched at least a share of the Sun Belt Conference’s West Division title for the Red Wolves (17-14, 11-5) and completed the school’s first perfect home schedule (13-0) in 20 years. The Red Wolves will have the division’s top seed for the conference tournament, which begins on March 5 in Hot Springs, Ark.
Alex Garcia-Mendoza had 15 points, Matt Mouzy 13 and Solomon Bozeman 12 for Arkansas-Little Rock (15-15, 7-8), which led 46-35 with 17:35 left.
Allison and Finn combined to make 10 of 11 free throws in the second half. The Red Wolves hit 33 of 44 from the line.
Jeremy Thomas finished with 12 points for Arkansas State.
