LOS ANGELES (AP) — Anze Kopitar had a goal and an assist, Jarret Stoll and defenseman Drew Doughty scored power-play goals, and the Los Angeles Kings held on to beat the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 on Saturday.
Defenseman Alec Martinez also scored for the Kings, 11-1-3 since Jan. 22 following a 2-10 stretch.
David Jones scored two power-play goals 39 seconds apart during the third period for Colorado after the Kings staked goalie Jonathan Quick to a 4-0 lead on Stoll’s goal with 14:03 to play.
