NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Jeremiah Kreisberg hit a layup with 41 seconds remaining to give Yale a 70-69 victory over Harvard on Saturday night.

Harvard led 61-56 with 6:36 to play, but Yale rallied for the 10th tie of the game at 66-66 with 2:17 left. After Reggie Willhite hit a layup to put Yale ahead 68-66, Harvard’s Christian Webster converted a three-point play for a 69-68 Crimson lead at the 55-second mark.

Harvard had a chance to win after Kreisberg’s go-ahead basket, but Brandyn Curry missed a layup with 1 second to go.

Austin Morgan led the Bulldogs (14-12, 7-5 Ivy League) with 16 points, Willhite had 15 and Kreisberg 13. Greg Mangano added 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Bulldogs, who ended a four-game series losing streak.

Webster scored 22 for the Crimson (21-5, 10-2), who had a six-game winning streak snapped and dropped to second place in the conference.
