NEW YORK (AP) — On Oscar weekend, a Shakespearean gang of garden gnomes are presiding over the box office.
Walt Disney’s “Gnomeo & Juliet,” an animated 3-D twist on “Romeo and Juliet,” took in $14.2 million in its third week of release. That was good enough to lead the box office, according to studio estimates Sunday.
