LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles Clippers have waived guard-forward Rasual Butler.

Butler’s exit was paved by the departure of Baron Davis and the acquisition of point guard Mo Williams and small forward Jamario Moon in a deal with Cleveland.

Butler had played a total of 5 minutes in the eight games before the All-Star break. He was making $2.4 million this season, having signed a one-year deal with the Clippers last summer.

Butler averaged 5.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 18.1 minutes in 41 games this season.
