TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Leondra Doomes-Stephens had a career-high 25 points and 13 rebounds, Andrea Smith scored 24 points, and South Florida beat No. 17 Georgetown 60-55 Monday night.

Doomes-Stephens shot 5 for 7 on 3-pointers en route to her first career double-double, helping the Bulls (12-18, 3-13 Big East) beat a ranked opponent for the first time since a win against then-No. 25 DePaul on Feb. 5, 2008.

Sugar Rodgers, averaging a team-leading 18.5 points per game coming in, had just 10 points on 4-for-11 shooting from the field for the Hoyas (21-9, 9-7). Rubylee Wright led Georgetown with 12 points and Tia McGee added nine.

South Florida was playing without leading rebounder Porche Grant, who was suspended two games by coach Jose Fernandez for making an obscene gesture to opposing fans in the final minute during a loss to Rutgers on Feb. 23.
