LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — The International Gymnastics Federation has suspended two Ukrainian coaches for “willful negligence” after a 15-year-old acrobatics world champion failed a doping test.

The governing body says Anastasiya Melnychenko must serve a two-month ban for testing positive for a banned diuretic at the European Team Championships in Poland last October.

Melnychenko, the 2010 women’s pairs world champion, was given a medication containing furosemide by a hospital doctor treating her nose infection.

However, FIG banned Ukraine coaches Nataliya Struck and Elena Roshynets for six months, saying they “did not care” about teaching athletes anti-doping rules.

The Ukraine federation was fined about $5,400.
