PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A storm system moving into the Northwest brought high winds overnight to the Portland area that knocked down tree limbs and caused scattered power outages.
Portland General Electric reports about 4,100 customers were without power in Clackamas County but most were restored by 6:30 a.m. Monday.
The National Weather Service says heavy rain in the Portland-Vancouver area could cause urban and small stream flooding through mid-morning.
Forecasters say the storm also is bringing heavy snow to the Cascades with wet snow possible at lower elevations.
