BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — Bellevue police say officers shot and killed a man who was wielding a large knife at a Chevron gas station early Thursday.

Officer Carla Iafrate says the man came at police officers with a large knife in his hands. She says it appears both officers fired shots. The man died at the scene.

Iafrate says two customers and two clerks were at the gas station at the time.

Police are at the scene interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence.
