NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — All-American wide receiver Ryan Broyles is coming back to Oklahoma for his senior season, saying he believes he can get himself “better prepared for the NFL.”

Broyles set school records this season with 131 receptions for 1,622 yards and also eclipsed the Sooners’ career records for receptions, yardage and touchdowns.

His decision Thursday comes one day after linebacker Travis Lewis announced he would return to Oklahoma next season with the goal of pursuing a national championship.

Broyles says he wants to “win more championships and break every record possible as a receiver” and considers himself fortunate to have the players around him to accomplish his goals.
