LAS VEGAS (AP) — A Las Vegas homeowner association wants a judge to force Floyd Mayweather Jr. to follow its rules and order the boxing champion to stop threatening its employees.
Southern Highlands Estates filed a complaint Tuesday in court seeking $10,000 in damages and an injunction against the 33-year-old Mayweather.
He bought a more than 12,000-square-foot home for $9.5 million in the gated community about 10 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip in May 2009.
The Las Vegas Sun reports the injunction would require Mayweather to stay inside his vehicle, show identification and refrain from threatening and harassing security at the community entrance.
Mayweather was arrested Dec. 16 on a misdemeanor battery complaint. He’s accused of poking a security guard in the face.
