WASHINGTON (AP) — Little-used guard Gabi Minix drilled a 3-pointer in double overtime to give Marquette the lead, and the Golden Eagles held on to upset No. 15 Georgetown 75-73 on Saturday.

Adria Crawford’s two free throws put the Hoyas up 71-69 with 3:43 left, before Minix — a freshman guard averaging 2.6 points — hit an open 3 from the wing to give Marquette the lead.

Angel Robinson hit three free throws down the stretch to seal the victory for the Golden Eagles (13-3, 1-2 Big East), snapping Georgetown’s six-game winning streak.

Five Marquette players finished in double figures, led by 19 points from Tatiyiana McMorris. Robinson added 18 points, while Courtney Weibel finished with 12.

The Hoyas (13-4, 1-2), who have never beaten Marquette in six tries, were led by Sugar Rodgers’ 26 points and 10 rebounds, though she fouled out with 1:59 left in the second overtime.
