MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) — Snohomish County sheriff’s officers say an off-duty deputy has been arrested for investigation of a domestic violence assault.

The Daily Herald of Everett says the 35-year-old man was booked into the Marysville jail after being arrested late Friday for investigation of second-degree domestic violence assault.

Few details have been released by the sheriff’s office, including the man’s name, his relationship with the alleged victim and whether anyone has been hospitalized.

The deputy has not been charged with a crime. He’s on administrative leave while the case is investigated.
