PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A former Oregon hospital official accused of enticing a 15-year-old boy into unlawful, videotaped sexual activity has pleaded not guilty to an 11-count felony indictment.

Brian J. Costa entered his pleas Monday before a U.S. magistrate in Medford, Ore.

Also pleading not guilty to the same counts was co-defendant John A. Dougal of Portland.

In court documents, the 52-year-old Costa is accused of meeting the high school freshman online, trading sexually explicit photos and arranging to meet him twice last year for sex in southern Oregon.

A federal grand jury issued the indictment last Friday, the same day Tuality Healthcare fired Costa after 16 years’ employment. The hospital in the Portland suburb of Hillsboro previously said the accusations did not involve any job-related duties. Costa was Tuality’s director of community relations.
