FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — Jets coach Rex Ryan says Darrelle Revis is “the best player in football” because the impact the Pro Bowl cornerback has on games is “amazing.”
Revis held Indianapolis’ Reggie Wayne to one catch for 1 yard Saturday night in New York’s 17-16 playoff victory. Ryan says Monday that shutting down the AFC’s leading receiver shows Revis is a “once-in-a-lifetime” player.
