EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Two men were sentenced Tuesday in Eugene for separate rapes in Lane County with one thing in common — the teenage women victims had been drinking.
The Register-Guard reports a 22-year-old Springfield man, Cuahutomoc Rojas, was sentenced to more than six years in prison for an assault on a 16-year-old girl who passed out in September after drinking too much. He pleaded guilty to sex abuse.
A 27-year-old Eugene man, Kalei Aloha Morris, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for raping a 19-year-old acquaintance in July after buying alcohol for her. He was convicted last week on rape and sodomy charges.
