WASHINGTON (AP) — Mike Muscala scored 24 of his career-high 33 points after halftime to lead Bucknell to a 75-60 victory over American University on Wednesday night.

Muscala also grabbed 10 rebounds for the third double-double of his career. Bryson Johnson and Joe Willman each added 12 points for the Bison (11-7, 2-0 Patriot League) in their fifth straight win and ninth in their past 10.

Troy Brewer and Charles Hinkle each scored 12 points for the Eagles (11-6, 1-1), who saw their four-game win streak snapped and suffered their third straight defeat to Bucknell.

Nick Hendra added 10 points for American.

The Bison held the Eagles to 40 percent shooting, and just 20 percent from 3-point range, while limiting leading scorer Vlad Moldoveanu to seven points — 15 below his season average.

Bucknell shot 50 percent from the floor and went 20 of 23 from the foul line.
