Dobbs leads Bryant over Sacred Heart 72-59

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) — Frankie Dobbs led four Bryant players in double figures with 22 points in a 72-59 win over Sacred Heart on Saturday.

Raphael Jordan scored 15 points, Alex Francis had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds and Cecil Gresham added 12 points for the Bulldogs (5-13, 3-3 Northeast Conference).

Dobbs was 6 of 10 from the field, including 3 of 6 from 3-point range, and made 7 of 8 from the free-throw line as Bryant won its third straight. It is the first winning streak of the season for the Bulldogs.

Bryant shot 55.6 percent from the field (25 of 45) with Jordan going 7 of 9. The Bulldogs made 7 of 16 from 3-point range (48.8 percent).

Shane Gibson led the Pioneers (7-10, 2-4) with 18 points. Jerrell Thompson chipped in 17 points for Sacred Heart, which shot just 27.4 percent from the field (20 of 73), including 4 of 21 from long range (19 percent).
