LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Mike Muscala had a double-double and hit the game-winning jump shot with 1 second left to lead Bucknell over Holy Cross 74-72 on Sunday.

Muscala, who scored 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, took the pass from Darryl Shazier after the Crusaders tied it for just the first time.

The Bison (12-7, 3-0 Patriot League) jumped out to an 8-0 lead behind six points from Joe Willman, and didn’t trail the rest of the way.

Trailing 59-48, Holy Cross (3-14, 2-1) scored 10 straight to cut it to 59-58 on Andrew Keister’s 3 with 8:20 left. With neither team able to get an edge from that point, Holy Cross tied it at 72-72 on Josh Jones’ free throws with 28 seconds remaining.

Bryson Johnson added 17 points and Willman finished with 13 for Bucknell, which won its sixth in a row.

Jones and Devin Brown finished with 14 points each for the Crusaders.
