ST. LOUIS (AP) — The St. Louis Rams hired Josh McDaniels, fired as Broncos coach with four games to go in the regular season, as their offensive coordinator.
The team announced the hire on its Twitter feed, OneRamsWay, on Tuesday. McDaniels replaces Pat Shurmur, hired as Cleveland Browns head coach earlier this month.
Coach Steve Spagnuolo called McDaniel one of the top offensive minds in the NFL.
