Wash. 2-bus collision sends 5 to hospitals

LYMAN, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says a collision between two buses sent five passengers from a Skagit Transit bus to local hospitals. No one was believed to be seriously injured.

Trooper Keith Leary tells the Skagit Valley Herald that the Tuesday afternoon crash on Washington Highway 20 involved the transit bus and a school bus from Concrete. No children were aboard the school bus.

Neither driver was injured. The State Patrol is investigating.
