MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says the body of a man has been found in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Marysville.

KIRO-TV reported Tuesday night that troopers received calls from drivers who saw a man sitting in between the north and southbound lanes of the freeway.

Troopers found the body when they responded.

Trooper Keith Leary says it appears the man may have been struck by a car. The victim was not immediately identified.

The State Patrol is looking for anyone who might have seen the man hit by a car.
