Author to discuss immigration at WSUV

Sonia Nazario, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and reporter for The Los Angeles Times, will speak about immigration at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26 in the Firstenburg Student Commons at Washington State University Vancouver.

According to a news release, Nazario humanizes the issue of immigration, posing new perspectives, while offering solutions aimed at changing the national dialogue on the influx of immigrants and the effect they will have on the state of the nation.

Nazario’s visit is part of the Public Affairs Lecture Series, an annual event presented by WSU Vancouver.
