CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) — Illinois defensive tackle Corey Liuget will skip his senior season and enter the NFL draft.

The university said Wednesday that he has decided to join linebacker Martez Wilson and running back Mikel Leshoure in leaving Illinois a year early.

Liuget is considered a potential first-round pick in the April draft.

Liuget was a second-team All Big Ten pick in 2010, who had 4.5 sacks and 63 tackles. The 6-3, 300-pound Liuget is from Miami.
