Vancouver — Dozens of people gathered on the steps of the Clark County Courthouse in downtown Vancouver on Friday afternoon, the day before the anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade case.

The crowd sang songs and came with anti-abortion signs that had statements such as, “I’m a former fetus.”

The rally is put on annually by Clark County Right For Life, a local affiliate of the pro-life organization Human Life of Washington State. The rally remembers the U.S. Supreme Court decision on Jan. 22, 1973, that granted women the right to choose to have an abortion.
