Oregon defeats Oregon State 63-59

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — E.J. Singler had 16 points and Jay-R Strowbridge scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half as Oregon defeated Oregon State 63-59 on Saturday.

Strowbridge made two free throws with 8 seconds remaining to seal the win for Oregon (9-10, 2-5 Pac-10), which outscored Oregon State (8-10, 3-4) 11-4 during a four-minute stretch late in the game.

Roberto Nelson had 11 points and Jared Cunningham nine for the Beavers.

Oregon shot 24 of 48 from the floor, including 9 of 23 from 3-point range. Oregon State was 20 of 52 overall.
