Marilyn’s Guy takes Aqueduct feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Marilyn’s Guy, the even-money favorite, beat Understatement by a head to win the $47,000 allowance feature on Sunday at Aqueduct.

The gray 5-year-old gelding trained by Kiaran McLaughlin got his sixth win in 21 starts. The time was 1:41.58 for the one mile, 70 yards with Eddie Castro aboard.

Marilyn’s Guy paid $4, $2.20 and $2.10. Understatement returned $2.70 and $2.10. Magic Lion paid $2.90 to show.
