MOSES LAKE, Wash. (AP) — Police say a woman trying to flee police in Moses Lake accidentally ran over herself.

An officer contacted the woman Monday at a business and told her she was wanted on a forgery arrest warrant.

The 40-year-old woman started to drive off with the officer following her when she tried to exit the moving vehicle. She was run over by the same vehicle she had been driving.

She was airlifted to a Seattle hospital with internal injuries.
