CLEVELAND (AP) — The Cleveland Indians say they’re hoping a healthy Grady Sizemore and Carlos Santana can boost their chances this year.
Both players had their 2010 seasons cut short by knee surgery. The Indians say they’re expected back.
Sizemore is a three-time All-Star in the outfield. Santana was enjoying a promising rookie season when he was hurt.
The Indians went 69-93 last year. New general manager Chris Antonetti and second-year manager Manny Acta were meeting with fans Thursday in a town hall setting in downtown Cleveland.
