Tickets for Rush’s June 28 concert at Sleep Country Amphitheater will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday.

As part of its Time Machine Tour, the Canadian rock band will perform both old and new material, as well as the entire 1980 “Moving Pictures” album.

Rush tickets are the first tickets to go on sale, but the classic rockers may not actually end up performing the first concert of the amphitheater’s coming season.

Country singer Tim McGraw’s Web site lists a concert at the venue June 17. Amphitheater spokesman Keevin Wagner said he can’t confirm that until the show has been finalized.

Nor could he confirm that Kenny Chensey will perform July 23, as that country singer’s Web site indicates.

“Unfortunately, until we have the shows confirmed, I can’t speculate,” Wagner said. He said he expects announcements within two to three weeks.

“We’re working on more shows this year than last year,” he added.

In 2010, the amphitheater hosted six Live Nation shows, as well as three Clark County Fair concerts.

The coming season is “shaping up really well,” Wagner said. “We’re going to try to get different genres — anything from classic rock to country to pop.”
