Body found along Skagit River near city park

MOUNT VERNON, Wash. (AP) — Mount Vernon police are investigating a body found along the Skagit River Sunday morning near a busy city park.

Spokeswoman Shannon Haigh told the Skagit Valley Herald that officers are on scene. Few details were immediately available.
