Three women with Clark County ties competed Saturday in the Miss Washington 2011 pageant in Renton, but none of them came home with the crown.

Katie Parsons of La Center was taking part in the competition as Miss Clark County. She did not advance to the top eight.

“We’re all so very proud of Katie and how she’s gown over the past year,” said Neal Donowitz, president of the Miss Clark County Scholarship Organization.

Genay Tucker, who was competing as Miss Spokane, advanced to the top five and was named third runner-up. She was previously Miss Washington Outstanding Teen in 2007 after winning the Miss Greater Vancouver Outstanding Teen the same year.

McKinley Smith, a former Miss Greater Vancouver and Miss Seattle, competed Saturday as Miss Liberty. She did not advance to the top eight.

The Miss Washington 2011 title went to Miss East Side Brittney Henry.
