Seattle teen injured in fireworks explosion

SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Fire Department says an 18-year-old was injured Monday night by an explosion of homemade fireworks.

Spokesman Kyle Moore says the teen found the explosive on the ground at a play field in the Queen Anne neighborhood.

When it blew up, it knocked him unconscious and severely injured his hands.
