ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Casey Anthony’s sentencing hearing is under way.
Anthony is being sentenced Thursday for lying to detectives who were investigating her 2-year-old daughter Caylee’s 2008 disappearance. She could get a maximum of four years. She has already served almost three while awaiting trial. She could be released Thursday.
The 25-year-old Anthony was acquitted Tuesday of murdering Caylee. Her trial attracted national attention.
