Evergreen Highlands — What can $20 get you? Fifth-grade students at St. Joseph Catholic School found out during a fundraiser. Tiffany Kesting, a parent of one of the students, found $20 this winter and instead of keeping it, gave it to the class and challenged the students to make it grow. The students decided to raise money to help rebuild St. Mary’s Catholic School in Joplin, Mo., which was leveled during the tornado in May. They held a schoolwide bake sale and raised $1,220 to donate. Supplies for the bake sale were donated so the first $20 went into the pot as seed money.
